AT HUMANA EVERY ITEM, EVERY CUSTOMER AND EVERY EMPLOYEE IS UNIQUE
Humana is a reuse and charity organization. We promote the circular economy and support development projects.
In Estonia, our main activities are collecting, sorting and reusing clothes. We offer a sustainable alternative to buying new products and give a longer life to clothes, shoes and textiles. The main goal of our activities is to support development projects in partner countries.
Everyone can be environmentally friendly by taking unused items to a clothes container, preferring second-hand clothes to new ones and making sustainable consumption decisions.

Our story
Humana was founded in Estonia in 2000. We opened our first store on May 12, 2000 in Tallinn, at Tartu mnt 67.
Our sorting center has been operating since 2001, and in 2009 it moved to new, modern premises in the Tänassilma Technology Park.
Until 2016, we accepted clothing donations at Humana stores, now we ensure that items collected through local government clothing containers are being reused as best as possible. Outdoor collection makes the service available 24/7.
We have supported development projects for over 20 years, contributing to education, healthcare, community and environmental projects in Angola, Mozambique, Malawi, Zimbabwe and Zambia. In Estonia, we are an advocate for sustainable consumption, so that everyone has the knowledge and opportunities to make environmentally friendly choices.
Thank you for choosing sustainable fashion and reuse!
A collection network in many Estonian cities and regions helps prevent and reduce the generation of clothing and textile waste. Through clothing collection, we give clothes, shoes, toys, bags and textiles a new chance in reuse or recycling.
We sort clothes collected in Estonia and imported goods according to quality. Items are sorted into more than 100 different categories. 80% end up in reuse and 15% for recycling. Unfortunately, 5% is waste, such as broken shoes or toys, for which there are no recycling options.

Humana stores offer everyone the opportunity to consume sustainable fashion, reduce the demand for new clothes and be unique. The Humana shop chain includes 21 stores in 9 Estonian cities.
In Humana and Humana vintage stores there is complete change of collection in every five weeks and in Humana 2 stores every two weeks.
The Vintage Humana product range consists of retro clothing and footwear for men and women. Humana and Humana 2 stores offer high-quality second-hand goods for the whole family.
